Advanced Yoga Therapy at Citta Flow
The Bridge Between Ancient Yogic Wisdom and Modern Medical Science
If you are navigating a chronic health condition, recovering from injury, or managing persistent physical limitations, standard group yoga classes don’t always offer the precise support you need.
To bridge the gap between clinical rehabilitation and everyday movement, Citta Flow is introducing a specialised stream of Clinical Yoga Therapy.
Our therapy programs with studio owner Bronika are deeply rooted in the world-renowned Svastha Yoga Therapy framework, designed directly by the Mohan family (A.G. Mohan and Indra Mohan), who studied for decades under Sri T. Krishnamacharya—the father of modern yoga therapy. This highly respected lineage does not focus on complex postures or athletic trends; instead, it seamlessly integrates authentic classical yoga, Ayurvedic lifestyle principles, and modern functional anatomy to create a clear path to healing.
What is Yoga Therapy?
Unlike a traditional yoga class where everyone follows the same sequence, Yoga Therapy treats the individual, not just the symptom. It is a systematic, evidence-based approach that adapts movement, functional breathing, and mindfulness practices to target specific structural, respiratory, and metabolic imbalances in the body.
Our Philosophy: We aim to offer a grounded, no-nonsense approach to recovery. We look at your body’s unique biomechanics and physiology to give you practical tools that build stability, reduce pain, and restore vitality.
Our Four Clinical Pillars
We address health and wellbeing through four targeted therapeutic domains. Later this year, we will be launching limited-space, 4-week specialised clinics focusing on each of these areas:
-
Best For: Chronic lower back stiffness, sacrum instability, hip or knee tracking issues, and restricted joint mobility.
The Focus: Correcting functional movement patterns, building core joint stability, and restoring confidence in your physical body without fear.
-
Best For: Asthma, long-COVID recovery, chronic shallow breathing, high blood pressure, and anxiety-induced chest tightness.
The Focus: The functional anatomy of the breath. We use targeted pranayama (breath techniques) along with gentle movement to optimize oxygenation, strengthen respiratory muscles, and balance help blood pressure.
-
Best For: Fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, localized nerve pain, and severe nervous system burnout.
The Focus: Utilizing polyvagal theory and mindfulness practices to down-regulate an overstimulated nervous system, moving your body out of "fight or flight" and into a state of deep, restorative healing.
-
Best For: Sluggish digestion, stress-induced IBS, menopause, metabolic fatigue, and supporting diabetes management.
The Focus: Combining gentle, targeted movement with classic Ayurvedic nutrition and lifestyle adjustments to improve gut motility and rebuild physical energy.
How Our 4-Week Clinics Work
To guarantee complete safety and clinical precision, our specialised intakes operate differently than our standard studio timetable:
Clinical Practicum Intake: While I bring over 350 hours of training and 500+ classes of teaching experience to the room, these clinics are being run as part of my advanced clinical practicum hours for the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT) path. This means you are receiving highly specialized, research-backed care under advanced academic oversight.
Subsidized Practicum Pricing: Because these sessions serve as official case-study hours for my accreditation, the investment for these foundational cohorts is offered at a special, subsidized rate.
Strictly Limited Spaces: Every clinic is capped at 6 to 8 participants maximum. This ensures you receive direct, personalized attention and individual alignment modifications for your specific case history.
Comprehensive Assessment: Your course includes a pre-clinic consultation so we can map out your unique physical history, diagnoses, and health goals before we step onto the mat.
Home Care Blueprint: You will leave the 4-week program with a simple, tailored movement home sequence, wellness program, and support to maintain your progress independently.
The Pathway Forward: Once your clinic concludes, you will have a clear pathway, either transitioning safely into our regular weekly Gentle Hatha classes for ongoing care or moving into private 1:1 sessions for highly complex, layered conditions requiring ongoing 1:1 support.
Absolute Privacy & Confidentiality
Your trust, privacy, and clinical safety are my highest priorities. Because Yoga Therapy involves discussing personal medical histories and structural health, we adhere to strict confidentiality protocols:
Secure Records: All health intake forms, medical histories, and personal information provided to Citta Flow are kept strictly private, stored securely, and are never shared with any third party.
De-Identified Case Studies: While the broad structural findings of these sessions contribute to my clinical practicum hours, your identity is entirely protected. All names, dates, and identifying personal details are completely changed to maintain 100% anonymity.
No Sharing of Medical Documents: Your official medical records, scans, or doctor reports remain completely confidential and are never shared or submitted to any outside training body.
