Yoga Classes Kalamunda Perth Hills
Yoga for Body, Breath, and Mind.
Based in the heart of Kalamunda, Citta Flow is a boutique yoga studio offering Group Yoga Classes, Regular Beginners courses, 1:1 Yoga Therapy, and Workshops.
What Makes Us Different?
We welcome everyone—from complete beginners taking their first steps on the mat, to experienced practitioners looking to go deeper. In every class, we provide clear options and modifications so you can find the 'just-right' challenge for your body today.
At Citta Flow, we teach Classical Hatha, the ultimate balanced practice that navigates the space between physical effort and deep mental ease. Unlike fast-paced modern flows or purely passive stretching, our classes integrate physical postures (asanas), breath techniques (pranayama), and meditation.
Small Group Classes, Personal Support
At Citta Flow, we intentionally limit every class to a maximum of just nine students. We do this to preserve a calm, spacious environment where you never feel lost in a crowd. Whether you are managing an injury, feeling stiff and stressed, or looking to build functional strength, our small class sizes ensure you always receive the individual guidance and personal support you need.
The story behind “Citta”
In Sanskrit, Citta (pronounced Chit-tah) refers to the mind, including your thoughts, emotions, memories, and patterns of awareness.
Through steady movement and conscious breath, you learn to observe these inner fluctuations with gentle awareness. Rather than getting caught up in every passing thought or reaction, you practice watching them arise and settle. Over time, this builds a beautiful sense of calm, clarity, and ease that stays with you long after you step off the mat.
Our Beginnings
After 13 years of personal practice, Studio Owner Bron founded Citta Flow to create a space where yoga is accessible, sustainable and grounded in tradition. Through calm, structured and welcoming classes, Citta Flow supports students in developing lifelong practices that enhance health, mobility, resilience and overall wellbeing.
What our students are saying
-
"I searched for a small class with gentle Hatha style/restorative yoga. I found the perfect class at Citta Flow in Kalamunda. It’s such a relaxing experience compared to other faster, confusing flows where you struggle to keep up. Bronika’s calming guided class is just what I was searching for. The studio is small and intimate, making for smaller, less intimidating class sizes.

“I’m an absolute beginner to yoga and was very lucky to come across Bronika’s classes. Citta Flow has helped me build strength and confidence with each class. I always feel gently guided through the poses, with my limitations taken into account so I never feel overwhelmed. The classes are welcoming and supportive, and I didn’t feel like a ‘complete beginner’ at all. Bronika has a wealth of knowledge, and the more I attend, the more I learn.”
— Gina
-
"It's my first time trying Yoga - having lower back issues with poor flexibility I felt I needed to try something. Although it's early days I'm beginning to feel some encouraging signs of improvement. I'm impressed with the variety from class to class - Bronika is always mixing it up - yet targeted - never boring. Genuinely feel like I'm in good hands!"
— Luke

Yoga Foundations
If you've been thinking about trying yoga but aren't sure where to begin, you're in the right place.
At Citta Flow, around 95% of our students started as complete beginners. That's because we specialise in Hatha Yoga—a gentle, supportive style that teaches the foundations at a comfortable pace.
You'll learn the basics of movement, breathing and alignment in a welcoming, non-judgemental environment, with plenty of guidance along the way.
You don't need to be flexible, fit or experienced. You just need to start.

Our Yoga Classes
Gentle Hatha
Postures are practised more slower than a regular Hatha class with attention to breath awareness, safe alignment, and joint protection, with options provided. This class is especially suitable for beginners, during pregnancy, mature-aged students, those recovering from injury or illness, people with arthritis or joint stiffness, and anyone seeking nervous system support, calm, and a steady, accessible practice.
General Hatha
Hatha Yoga is a gentle and grounding practice that focuses on aligning the body, breath, and mind through a series of physical postures (asanas), breathing techniques (pranayama), and meditation. Rooted in classical yoga traditions, it offers a balanced approach to building strength, flexibility, and inner calm, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced practitioners.
Restorative
Restorative Yoga is a deeply relaxing practice designed to help the body and mind unwind. Using supportive props the body is gently held in comfortable poses for several minutes at a time.
With the body fully supported, muscles can soften and let go of stored tension. This allows the nervous system to settle and encourages a deep sense of rest and restoration.
This class is ideal if you are feeling tired, stressed, or simply in need of a slower, nurturing practice. Suitable for everyone, including during all stages of pregnancy.
Hatha Flow
Hatha Flow is a more fluid style of Hatha yoga where movement is seamlessly linked with breath, with Sun Salutations or Vinyasa style sequences, creating an energizing practice. Offering variety while building strength, flexibility, and focus. Hatha Flow encourages presence and creativity, making it an uplifting and invigorating experience. Options provided in every class, suitable for everyone, and beginners who are healthy.
