Yoga Classes Kalamunda Perth Hills

Classical Yoga for body, breath, and mind.

Based in the heart of Kalamunda, Citta Flow is a boutique, independent yoga studio offering yoga classes, retreats, and workshops.

We don't do fast, hot, or performance-driven fitness trends. We teach a grounded, traditional practice that blends steady movement, functional alignment, and breath awareness to build real strength, mobility, and a quiet mind.

The 9-Mat Difference

At Citta Flow, we purposely limit every single class to a maximum of just 9 students.

We do this intentionally to preserve a calm, spacious environment and to ensure that you receive the individual attention, anatomical guidance, and personal support you need. Whether you are managing an injury, feeling stiff and stressed, or looking to build functional strength, you won’t get lost in a crowd here.

Why Choose Classical Hatha?

Many of our students step onto the mat because they feel stiff, stressed, or tired. Hatha is the ultimate "balanced practice"—working with both effort and ease to help your body feel steady and supported while deeply calming your nervous system.

Unlike fast-paced flows or purely passive floor stretching, our classes focus on safe alignment, held postures, and purposeful movement that improves your daily, functional strength.

What’s in a Name?

In traditional yoga philosophy, Citta (pronounced chitta) is the Sanskrit word for the mind, thoughts, and emotions.

Many people avoid yoga or meditation because they think they can't "stop their thoughts" or empty their minds. At Citta Flow, we don't believe in forcing the mind to be blank. Instead, we teach you how to step back, observe your thoughts, and let them flow past without getting caught up in them. Through steady posture and breath, we quiet the chatter of the mind, leaving you feeling calm, spacious, and clear.

Our Beginnings

After 13 years of personal practice, Studio Owner Bron created Citta Flow to offer the kind of yoga she couldn’t easily find in the Perth Hills, calm, clear, welcoming classes that feel steady, structured, and entirely free of pretense.

Every class at Citta Flow is shaped by this philosophy: to help you move with awareness, build resilience, and find a consistent, supportive space away from busy life.

From Our Community

  • "I searched for a small class with gentle Hatha style/restorative yoga. I found the perfect class at Citta Flow in Kalamunda. It’s such a relaxing experience compared to other faster, confusing flows where you struggle to keep up. Bronika’s calming guided class is just what I was searching for. The studio is small and intimate, making for smaller, less intimidating class sizes.

    — Helen

  • “I’m an absolute beginner to yoga and was very lucky to come across Bronika’s classes. Citta Flow has helped me build strength and confidence with each class. I always feel gently guided through the poses, with my limitations taken into account so I never feel overwhelmed. The classes are welcoming and supportive, and I didn’t feel like a ‘complete beginner’ at all. Bronika has a wealth of knowledge, and the more I attend, the more I learn.”

    — Gina

  • "It's my first time trying Yoga - having lower back issues with poor flexibility I felt I needed to try something. Although it's early days I'm beginning to feel some encouraging signs of improvement. I'm impressed with the variety from class to class - Bronika is always mixing it up - yet targeted - never boring. Genuinely feel like I'm in good hands!"
