What is Hatha Yoga?
Hatha is a classical style of yoga — the foundation of most modern yoga practices. Its name comes from Sanskrit: “ha” (sun) and “tha” (moon), symbolizing balance — the union of opposites within body and mind.
Originally developed in India to prepare the body and nervous system for meditation, Hatha Yoga combines postures, breath, and focused awareness. Together, these elements build steadiness, strength, and clarity, supporting a more grounded and balanced way of living.
At its heart, Hatha Yoga is about balance — strength and softness, effort and ease, body and mind — helping you feel steady and centered both on and off the mat.
Meet Your Teacher
Hi, I’m Bronika, most people call me Bron — a Kalamunda local and founder of Citta Flow.
Yoga has been part of my life for over 13 years, supporting me through life’s transitions and challenges. What began as a personal practice naturally grew into teaching.
At Citta Flow, I share classical Hatha Yoga with clear instruction, thoughtful sequencing, and steady pacing. You don’t need to be flexible or experienced — just willing to move and follow your breath.
I look forward to welcoming you to the studio and sharing my love of yoga with our local community.
