  • We have heaps of parking at the back of the studio. Access via Railway Road, or Stirk St.

Plus parking at the front on Haynes Street (Depending on the time of day)

  • Please bring a yoga mat.

We have eco-friendly yoga props you can use in the studio. Cork Blocks, Cotton Blankets and linen covered bolsters and eye pillows.

Bring a water bottle (no glass bottles please) and perhaps a sweatshirt or light jumper for relaxation at the end.

  • Take off your shoes and leave them in the shoe bench outside the door.

Arrive Early: Give yourself time to settle in before class starts.

Turn Off Devices: Avoid distractions by turning off your phone and smart watch.

For the respect and privacy of all students we ask that no video’s or photos are taken inside the studio.

  • The studio will be open 15 minutes before class starts.

Please arrive 10-15 mins before the start of a class, especially if it’s your first time. It gives you time to get settled, chat with the teacher, and avoid feeling rushed.

Please note: we lock the door at the start of the scheduled class time.

  • The studio door will be locked at the beginning of the schedule class. This is so that everyone can enjoy an uninterrupted settling and grounding start to each class.

If you arrive late and the door is locked you will be marked as a “no-show”. Inline with our Terms & Conditions - No Show Policy this means that you will forfeit a class pass.

  • Wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move freely. Avoid anything too loose or restrictive.

  • There are private toilets in Kalamunda Arcade opposite the studio plus a changing area on-site, but no shower.

  • Class sizes vary depending on the day and time. We keep our classes intentionally small to ensure personalised guidance and a supportive environment for each student’s yoga journey.

Most classes have a maximum of 9 students, allowing for plenty of space between mats and individual attention. Restorative Yoga classes can accommodate up to 11 students, while still maintaining a calm, spacious, and nurturing setting.

Yoga

  • Hatha Yoga is a gentle, physical form of yoga that focuses on aligning the body, breath, and mind. It combines postures (asanas), breath work (pranayama), and mindful relaxation to create balance, strength, and inner calm. Hatha is the foundation of most modern yoga styles and is suitable for all levels.

  • Hatha Yoga is for anyone seeking a mindful, supportive practice. Whether you’re new to yoga, recovering from injury, managing stress, or looking to deepen your connection to your body and breath, Hatha offers tools for strength, flexibility, and clarity at your own pace.

  • Practicing Hatha Yoga can:

    • Improve flexibility, balance, and posture

    • Build strength and stamina gently

    • Reduce stress, anxiety, and tension

    • Support better sleep and energy levels

    • Promote mindfulness and self-awareness

    • Prepare the body and mind for meditation

Hatha Yoga isn’t about competition or perfection—it’s about meeting your body where it is and cultivating ease, awareness, and wellbeing.

  • Our Hatha yoga classes are very suitable for beginners. Hatha is taught at a slower, more steady pace, with clear guidance and time to explore each posture safely. This makes it ideal for those new to yoga, as well as for anyone returning after a break.

In class, poses are broken down step by step, with options and props offered so you can move in a way that suits your body. You’re encouraged to work with your own breath, ability, and comfort level — there’s no pressure to keep up or push beyond your limits.

Hatha yoga builds strong foundations, confidence, and body awareness, making it a perfect place to begin your yoga journey.

  • Hatha
A steady, foundational class focused on alignment, breath, and body awareness. Poses are held long enough to explore safely and with clarity. Suitable for beginners and experienced students alike.

    Hatha Flow
Builds on Hatha foundations with gentle, flowing transitions between postures. Movement is linked with breath, offering a slightly more dynamic practice while still maintaining care and alignment.

    Gentle Hatha
A slower, softer version of Hatha yoga. Ideal if you’re seeking a calm, supportive practice, returning after a break, managing fatigue, or wanting extra care for the body.

    Restorative
A deeply restful practice using bolsters, blankets, and props to fully support the body. Poses are held for longer periods to encourage relaxation, nervous system regulation, and deep rest.

    Chair Yoga
Practised seated and standing with the support of a chair. Designed for those with limited mobility, balance concerns, or recovering from injury, while still offering the benefits of breath, movement, and mindfulness.

If you’re unsure which class is right for you, you’re very welcome to email hello@cittaflow.com.au and we can help guide you.
