ABOUT US

Welcome to Citta Flow

Citta Flow was created from a simple belief: yoga can become a meaningful part of everyday life.

A practice that helps us move with greater awareness, breathe more consciously, find moments of stillness and develop a deeper understanding of ourselves.

Located in Kalamunda in the Perth Hills, Citta Flow is a small yoga studio offering Classical Hatha Yoga, Gentle Hatha, Restorative Yoga, meditation and Yoga Therapy.

With a maximum of nine students per class, we create space for thoughtful teaching, individual guidance and genuine connection.

Why Citta Flow exists

We wanted to create a yoga studio where the quality of the practice matters more than the performance of the pose.

Where there is time to learn, breathe, notice and ask questions. And time to develop a practice that can evolve with you through different stages of life.

At the heart of Citta Flow is Classical Hatha Yoga — a tradition that extends far beyond physical postures to include breath, relaxation, concentration, meditation and awareness.

We believe these practices have something valuable to offer all of us, both on the mat and in everyday life.

Who you'll find at Citta Flow

Citta Flow brings together people at many different stages of their yoga journey.

Some are discovering yoga for the first time. Others are returning to a practice they enjoyed years ago. Some come for movement, strength and mobility, while others value the opportunity to slow down, breathe and create space in their week.

You'll also find people who want to explore yoga more deeply through meditation, philosophy or Yoga Therapy.

What brings people through the door may be different, but there is a shared appreciation for thoughtful teaching, a calm environment and a practice with purpose.

What makes Citta Flow different?

Small by design

With a maximum of nine students, our classes offer a more personal approach to group yoga.

Your teacher has the opportunity to get to know you, observe your practice and offer individual guidance throughout the class.

The result is a quieter, more connected learning environment where you can develop your practice with attention and care.

Classical Hatha at the heart

Our teaching is grounded in Classical Hatha Yoga, bringing together physical postures, breath awareness, relaxation, concentration and meditation.

We teach with clarity and purpose, while recognising that every person experiences the practice differently.

A practice that extends beyond the mat

Yoga offers practical tools for everyday life.

The awareness of your breath.

The ability to notice how your body feels.

The space to pause.

The practice of paying attention.

Over time, these simple skills can become part of how you move through your day — helping you develop greater awareness, steadiness and ease.

What Our Students Are Saying

"As a complete beginner, I felt so lucky to find Citta Flow. Every class has helped me build strength and confidence."

I never felt like I had to keep up or already know what I was doing. The teaching is gentle, supportive and always adapted to my own abilities. The welcoming community and encouraging environment have made it easy to keep coming back, and I would recommend Citta Flow to anyone, whether you're completely new to yoga or have practised before.

“It's such a relaxing experience compared to faster, confusing classes where you feel like you're struggling to keep up.”

After taking time away from yoga, I was searching for a small, gentle Hatha class and found exactly what I needed at Citta Flow. The calm teaching, intimate class sizes and welcoming atmosphere made me feel comfortable from my very first visit..

Every yoga journey has a starting point.

For some, that might be a Gentle Hatha class. For others, it might be the Foundations Pathway, a Restorative class or an individual Yoga Therapy consultation.
