Sally Flintoff

YOGA TEACHER

About Sally

Sally brings decades of personal practice and extensive teacher training to every class, offering a calm, grounded presence that helps students feel supported from the moment they arrive.

Originally drawn to yoga after years of gymnastics, she loved the way it made her body feel and quickly discovered that the benefits extended far beyond the physical practice. Today, her teaching reflects a thoughtful blend of movement, breath awareness and traditional yoga philosophy, helping students build confidence, resilience and greater ease in both body and mind.

Breath sits at the heart of Sally's teaching, and one of her most familiar reminders is simply, "Keep breathing." Her classes are practical, accessible and welcoming, encouraging students to move at their own pace while developing greater awareness and connection through mindful practice.

Outside the studio, Sally enjoys walking in nature, meditation and spending time in the mountains whenever she can. A lifelong learner, she's fascinated by languages and has studied French, German, Spanish, Russian, Japanese and Thai. More recently, she's taken on the challenge of learning ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. She also believes one of life's greatest lessons is learning to be a little gentler with ourselves—both on and off the mat.

  • "It's my first time trying Yoga - having lower back issues with poor flexibility I felt I needed to try something. Although it's early days I'm beginning to feel some encouraging signs of improvement. I'm impressed with the variety from class to class - Bronika is always mixing it up - yet targeted - never boring. Genuinely feel like I'm in good hands!"

  • After 12 months away from yoga, I was looking for a small, gentle Hatha class and found exactly what I needed at Citta Flow. It's such a relaxing experience compared to faster-paced classes where you feel like you're struggling to keep up. Bronika's calm, guided teaching and the small class sizes make the studio feel welcoming and unintimidating. It's exactly what I was searching for."
