Frequently Asked Questions
Getting Started:
-
Absolutely. In fact, many of our students had never practised yoga before joining Citta Flow.
Our classes are taught at a gentle, supportive pace, with clear guidance, personalised instruction and options to suit different bodies, abilities and experience levels. There's no pressure to keep up or get every pose "right"—you're encouraged to work at your own pace and listen to your body.
If you're unsure where to begin, we recommend starting with our 21-Day Switch Off Reset or a Gentle Hatha class.

Yes. Our Hatha Yoga classes are taught at a gentle, steady pace, making them ideal for beginners and those returning to yoga after time away.
You'll receive clear guidance, personalised support and options throughout class, allowing you to practise safely and comfortably at your own pace.

-
Not at all.
Flexibility is something that develops over time. Our classes are designed to meet you where you are today, regardless of your age, experience or mobility.
-
Hatha Yoga is a gentle, traditional style of yoga that combines mindful movement, breath awareness and relaxation to support both body and mind.
At Citta Flow, our Hatha classes are taught at a slower, more mindful pace, making them ideal for beginners, older adults and anyone seeking greater strength, mobility, balance and calm.
-
Yes. Our classes are intentionally small, with a maximum of 9 students, so bookings are essential.
Simply visit our Class Timetable, click Book Now, and you'll be taken to Momoyoga where you can create an account, book classes and purchase passes or memberships.

Please bring:
Your yoga mat

A light jumper or socks if you'd like to stay warm during relaxation
We provide all other yoga props, including cork blocks, cotton blankets, bolsters and eye pillows.
-
We recommend arriving 5–10 minutes before class so you have time to settle in.
When you arrive:
Leave your shoes on the shoe bench outside the studio.
Silence your phone and smart watch.
Make yourself comfortable—we'll welcome you and help you get settled before class begins.
If it's your first visit, please let your teacher know if you have any injuries, health concerns or are pregnant so we can support you throughout your practice.
-
Absolutely. Many of our students started as complete beginners.
Our Hatha Yoga classes move at a steady, accessible pace, with plenty of guidance along the way. We explore the foundational postures, breath awareness and movement in a way that's appropriate for whoever is in the room.
Rather than separating beginners from everyone else, we teach the person in front of us. Whether it's your first class or you've been practising for years, you'll be offered options to suit your body and experience.
