About Helen

Helen has more than 2 decades of teaching experience and has a calm, welcoming presence that allows for her students to feel at ease upon arriving to each class.

She encourages and supports her students to practice to their own capacity creating a safe space to explore Yoga in a way that honours their body.

Mindful movement linked with breath whilst instilling a deep sense of presence is at the core of how she guides her students.

Helen began her journey and exploration of Classical Hatha Yoga in attending classes at her local recreation centre in 1998. Being a young mother at that time she really appreciated feeling nurtured and replenished energetically after attending a class.

From this positive experience she was inspired to study and complete her teacher training. Her learning journey has been ongoing via various teacher training’s attending workshops/retreats with senior Yoga teachers, through her own practice and in immersing herself in Yoga ashrams both in India and Australia.

With more than 2 decades of teaching experience and having taught Yoga in ashrams, retreats, the workplace, local halls, Yoga studios, gyms, schools, rec centres and the women’s prison. Helen is grateful to be sharing the gift of yoga in the community and in connecting with people from all walks of life. She looks forward to sharing her love of yoga with you.

  • "It's my first time trying Yoga - having lower back issues with poor flexibility I felt I needed to try something. Although it's early days I'm beginning to feel some encouraging signs of improvement. I'm impressed with the variety from class to class - Bronika is always mixing it up - yet targeted - never boring. Genuinely feel like I'm in good hands!"

  • After 12 months away from yoga, I was looking for a small, gentle Hatha class and found exactly what I needed at Citta Flow. It's such a relaxing experience compared to faster-paced classes where you feel like you're struggling to keep up. Bronika's calm, guided teaching and the small class sizes make the studio feel welcoming and unintimidating. It's exactly what I was searching for."
